Area Manager for a Veterinary Group

The Best Friends Veterinary Group is privately owned with 32 surgeries across Cambridgeshire, Essex and London with its Head Office based in Peterborough. We are looking for an Area Manager to join our management team. You will monitor and manage the operational performance of the practices and recruitment. Effective communication is key to this role in order to build on working relationships with key service providers. Responsibilities include financial control, stock control and dealing with people management. Applicants must be experienced in recruitment and induction, have good financial acumen, budget setting and financial monitoring, good planning and interpersonal skills, good report writing skills and hold a valid driving licence. Experience of a similar management/leadership role within the veterinary industry would be an advantage but not essential.
