This post is either full-time or part-time, with hours of work being no less than 30 hours per week.
You will be responsible for supporting the Director of Research in preparing the General Engineering Unit of Assessment submission for the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. This is one of the largest single submissions in the UK. You will help shape the departmental policy, design implementation processes, and produce case studies, statistics and other materials with a full audit trail so that you can answer queries following submission.
You will have excellent writing and oral communications skills with an emphasis on precision and efficiency. Interviewing/consulting skills and teaching/coaching skills would be valuable for finding information and helping academics refine their contribution.
